Maria Elementary School is an independent school with a private principal since it was founded in 1885. The operation is run by the Märta Fransons Foundation and is not profit-driven.

Maria Elementary is a traditional grades F-9 school with approximately 350 students. The teaching is teacher-led and all students have home classrooms with desks and textbooks. Knowledge acquisition is central to the school and homework is a natural part of the process. Cohesion and camaraderie are important aspects of the school. Students achieve good results and have fun along the way.

We are immediately looking for a teacher for grade 1, the position is primarily for the remainder of the term.

As the position involves working with children, a police background check is required. Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously during the recruitment process.
