About the assignment
We are now looking for a senior system developer (fullstack) for our client Telenor, who wants to work in a technically advanced environment with systems that are at the heart of Telenor's IP network.
You will be part of a competent and stable development team responsible for Telenor's provisioning system – a central part of the network's operations. The team has recently completed major updates to meet regulatory requirements and is now focusing on modernizing and further developing the architecture to meet future needs.
Your role
As a senior developer, you will have the opportunity to:
Familiarize yourself with the existing architecture and system stack and contribute your experience to improvements and new development.
Participate in design and architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
Work closely with other developers, system owners, and network experts.
Share knowledge and coach the team in modern development methods and best practices.
Technical environment
Backend: Python
Frontend: Angular
Version control & CI/CD: GitLab
Other: NSO (Network Service Orchestrator), on-prem (not cloud)
Working method: Agile, test-driven development (TDD)
We are looking for someone who
Has experience as a senior developer in complex system environments.
Has worked with both legacy and greenfield projects.
Has a solid foundation in modern programming languages and frameworks.
Preferably has experience with Python and Angular – but most importantly is your architectural understanding and ability to quickly adapt to new environments.
Thrives in an environment where technical leadership, collaboration, and pragmatism are highly valued.
Experience with network structure or similar domains is a plus, but not a requirement.
Personal qualities
We believe you are analytical, curious, and solution-oriented. You understand that there are no perfect solutions – only wise trade-offs. You are eager to share your knowledge and are used to contributing to both technology and team culture.
