We are looking for an experienced system developer/database specialist for the Police Authority. You will work with a large and complex system for resource and operational planning, focusing on modernization and conversion from Ingress to Oracle. The work is conducted in agile teams, and you will be part of the COPS Oracle team, along with other developers and database specialists. The assignment includes conversion, troubleshooting, rewriting, testing, and framework development (e.g., unit tests and batches).

This is a role for you who enjoys technical complexity, collaborates closely with colleagues, and contributes to important societal functions.

To be considered for the assignment, you must meet the following requirements:

• At least 9 years of documented experience in system development

• At least 4 years of experience working with Oracle in the last 6 years

• At least 4 years of programming experience in C++ or Java in the last 6 years

• Experience working in a Linux environment, including ksh and/or bash scripts

• At least 6 years of experience working with databases

• Very good knowledge of analysis, configuration, and maintenance of databases

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Swedish citizenship is a requirement

• Experience with PL/SQL and Embedded SQL

• Experience from an IT department within the justice system

• Working hours: 40 hours per week

• Start: November 3, 2025

• End: December 18, 2026 (option for extension)

• Location: Stockholm (at least 3 days/week on-site)
