We at CONSULTING it are now looking for a Windows Server Engineer for an assignment within Technology Operations, specifically within Infrastructure Services, a central part of the client's technical operations organization.

As a Windows Server Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring a stable, secure, and future-proof infrastructure. You will be an important part of a team responsible for both defining requirements and delivering IT services with high availability and quality, whether they are delivered internally or via external partners.

In the role of Windows Server Engineer, you will work broadly within the operation, management, and further development of the client's server environment. You will have the opportunity to influence the technical platform, contribute to improvements, and be part of a team that manages environments with high demands for availability, security, and stability.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Developing, maintaining, and implementing IT solutions, integrations, and configurations in line with the organization's goals
• Responsible for the daily operation of the infrastructure and ensuring that SLA requirements are met
• Managing incidents, requests, and changes
• Participating in planning, requirements management, and follow-up of IT solutions
• Contributing to technical documentation and improvement work
• Collaborating with other specialists in operations, networking, and security

To thrive in this role, we believe you are a technically skilled, curious, and structured person who enjoys working in complex environments. You have a good understanding of how to build and maintain a stable and secure infrastructure, and you enjoy combining operations, troubleshooting, and development.

We would like you to have:

• 2–4 years of experience in Windows Server administration (installation, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting)
• Experience with Active Directory, including managing users, groups, GPOs, and replication
• Knowledge of security related to Microsoft Server – for example, hardening, rights management, and network security
• Experience working with automation and scripting, such as PowerShell
• Experience in environments with high demands for availability and continuity
• Understanding of ITIL processes and structured change management
• Relevant education or equivalent experience in the field

Experience with hybrid or cloud environments (e.g., Azure) and an interest in further developing within infrastructure and automation is also a plus.
