As an M&A lawyer, you will be the sole responsible lawyer for M&A at Sparc Group, but you will work closely with our corporate lawyer to support each other as needed. Your primary responsibility is to manage the legal aspects of our acquisitions, and you will be a key player in the entire process – from due diligence to negotiations and contract drafting – in close collaboration with our transaction team. The role involves both strategic and operational responsibilities and gives you the opportunity to shape our acquisition strategy.

As we acquire companies across the country, the role requires travel within Sweden.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the legal aspects of the group's acquisitions
• Manage the entire M&A process: due diligence, negotiations, and contract drafting in close collaboration with our transaction team
• Drive and coordinate legal processes related to acquisitions and divestitures
• Collaborate with external advisors, banks, and sellers
• Contribute to the development and streamlining of the group's M&A processes
• Support the corporate lawyer as needed in reviewing commercial contracts and corporate formalities
• Assist management and business areas in corporate legal matters under the guidance of the corporate lawyer

We are looking for someone who

• Is a lawyer with at least 3–5 years of experience in M&A, preferably from a law firm or a company with an active acquisition agenda
• Is used to working independently and driving processes from start to finish
• Has strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships
• Is structured, business-minded, and thrives in a dynamic environment
• Has a pragmatic approach and the ability to balance legal risks with business benefits
• Is flexible and willing to travel within Sweden in connection with acquisitions
