We are looking for an engaged and social man who wants to work part-time as a personal assistant to a cheerful and social man in his 30s living in a villa just outside Lindesberg. He has an active daily life and loves to move around, swim, ride, and take walks – both outdoors and on the treadmill at home. He also enjoys driving, going to town, and having coffee. During weekdays, he participates in daily activities, and you as an assistant will accompany him there and bring him back home. Once home, he enjoys relaxing with music, TV, and his mobile phone. He needs assistance with personal hygiene, toilet visits/showering, feeding, and getting dressed and undressed. There is a strong focus on vegetarian food at home, so it is advantageous if you have an interest and knowledge in vegetarian cooking – preferably with a bit of creativity in the kitchen.
This is a valuable and close work that is based on respect, security, and joy. You get the chance to be an important part of another person's quality of life – every day.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has good physical ability.
- Has a driver's license and access to a car.
- Is non-smoking and can swim.
- Has basic knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Is calm, positive, resourceful, and flexible.
- Ideally has experience in personal assistance or care (not a requirement but meritorious).
It is a great plus if you can or understand Hindi, but it is not a requirement – he understands both Swedish and Hindi.
Scope & Work arrangement:- Start date: November/December.
- Employment rate: Part-time, about 20-25 hours a week.
- Agreement: Introductory shifts and about a month's hourly employment before the regular employment rate is assigned, provided everything has gone well. This gives you a chance to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.
- Work shifts: Daytime, for example, 14:00-18:00/19:00.

To ensure that we maintain high quality in the assistance, new employees will undergo a web-based introductory training (about 1 hour), preferably before the start of employment but no later than within a month from the start of employment.
