About the position

At the Social Emergency Service, we handle all types of cases related to social services.

Currently, there are 7 social workers at the Social Emergency Service whose main task is to process urgent cases according to SoL, LVU, and LVM, outside of office hours and without supervision. The Social Emergency Service is also a county emergency service and provides social emergency services in urgent cases to ten municipalities in Örebro County. As a team leader with us, you will work closely with the unit manager to develop and drive the operations forward. You will play an important role in collaboration with other internal units as well as external ones. Operational work will be part of the team leader role, which means working hours during the day, evening, night, and weekends according to a schedule.

Examples of job duties:

• lead internal meetings
• provide support and help the organization’s employees with work-related issues
• create structure for the work to be performed in the organization
• develop the operations together with others in the management team and at the request of the unit manager
• collaborate internally and externally
• process cases and make decisions according to delegation

About the workplace

Within the authority operations of the Social Administration's Individual and Family Care, there are several areas with both authority exercise and interventions. Foster homes, Family Law, Reception, and Social Emergency Service. There are also investigation units for all age groups; children, youth, and adults.

We are located at Ribbingsgatan 1, close to the central station.

Qualifications

In the position of team leader with us, you are calm, stable, and self-aware. You find it easy to collaborate with others and can relate to them in a responsive manner. As a team leader, you are good at coordinating groups and creating engagement and participation. Furthermore, you are flexible and independent in your working style and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You lead and motivate others to achieve common goals. Collaboration with internal and external parties is an important part of the work. You master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with colleagues and clients, as well as document in writing what the organization requires.

Requirements:

• degree in social work (210 credits)
• documented experience in authority exercise within Individual and Family Care
• driver's license for manual transmission

Meritorious:

• experience in leadership
• experience in development work
• experience in authority exercise within Reception and Social Emergency Service
• experience working with MI (Motivational Interviewing)
• experience working in LifeCare
• experience in processing according to LVU, SoL, and LVM
