Job as a Personal Assistant

Do you want to work with a wonderful team that knows what assistance means? Our client has a team of assistants with an open atmosphere and clear communication. We are looking for someone with experience in autism.

The client requires assistance 24/7 and has double assistance during part of the day, where you will work in pairs. Our client attends DV from Monday to Friday, where you will be present as an assistant. She enjoys swimming, so trips to the swimming pool occur twice a week. She likes to take walks and occasionally goes to the gym and the library. There is a cat in the home, so you cannot have a pet allergy.

You will be offered friendly colleagues and an active client who truly appreciates her assistants. You will receive tailored introduction/training regarding the client's needs and routines.

Role and Experience of the Assistant

Are you a team player who sees opportunities instead of difficulties? We are looking for someone who works well in a team but is also self-sufficient. You need to be resilient, stress-resistant, and have a good understanding of what personal assistance in the home entails.

It is important that you can motivate and engage the client, but also be attentive and work from the heart. Clear and direct communication is essential. As an assistant, you will follow the client during your shift but also take responsibility for the day and be able to manage tasks. Working independently and making decisions in an organized manner is required.

You need to be flexible regarding working hours since we in the team cover staffing if someone is sick or on vacation – we support our client and each other.

Desirable Experience

• Experience in personal assistance.
• Experience with autism.
• Swedish spoken and written.
• Sign language and communication.
• Challenging behavior.
• Driver's license required.
• Swimming ability is a must.
• No allergy to pets.

Working Hours/Employment Rate

• Hourly – extra as needed during regular assistant's illness and vacation.
• Start according to agreement.
• Working hours are scheduled for all hours of the day, double assistance occurs.
