JOB DESCRIPTION

We are expanding and are now looking for another star for the adult unit of social services' Individual and Family Care. The basic mission of the adult unit is to ensure a legally secure and lawful handling of all cases for which the unit is responsible. With respect for the legal frameworks governing social services, the unit is responsible for authority exercise according to the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Care of Abusers (LVM), and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The legal security in the handling permeates the entire processing process, and our goal is to provide the right intervention to the right person at the right time. As an adult social worker, you are responsible for investigating needs, assessing, deciding, and following up on interventions for individuals aged 18 and older, according to the Social Services Act. We continuously work to achieve a legally secure, gender-equal, and equitable authority exercise. The work requires a responsive and genuine approach towards our citizens, and you also need to have a strong interest in collaborating with other professionals, operations, and authorities.

In your work, you draw on knowledge and proven experience. You also consider current legislation, guidelines, and routines, and make decisions according to the applicable delegation order. Issues of approach are important; we strive to be respectful, credible, clear, and effective. Great emphasis is placed on ensuring that our citizens are involved in the work and receive a responsive and professional approach.

We work cross-professionally across the unit, which means that you may also need to support other caseworkers in their absence. By your side, you have a senior social worker who supports and coaches you in your daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are updated in the field of social work and are curious about meeting people with different life stories and difficulties such as harmful use, dependency, mental health issues, functional variations, and other vulnerabilities. It is very important to us that you demonstrate great commitment and curiosity for the target group and have a strong belief in the human capacity for change. You will become part of an engaged and creative team that has joy in work and a strong focus on the mission.

We are looking for someone with:

• A degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent/relevant for the assignment.
• Several years of experience in authority exercise.
• Good knowledge of ASI, LVM, and FREDA.
• Good ability to document and express yourself both verbally and in writing.
• Structured, analytical, and able to manage several processes simultaneously.
• Flexible, good at communicating, and collaborating with others - both internally and externally.
• To succeed in this role, you should also be unpretentious, flexible, and solution-oriented, as well as good at creating sustainable relationships since you are a key person in your assignment.
• Good knowledge of the operational system LifeCare.
• Knowledge of VINR.
• Manual driving license (B).
