We are now looking for a female personal assistant for a cheerful and positive 38-year-old man who is wheelchair-bound and lives independently in Lindesberg. Due to his multiple disabilities, he requires support around the clock with personal hygiene, dressing, transfers, feeding via a button on his stomach, and catheter management. 

He is a joyful person who loves music, movies, walks, and many other activities that fill his everyday life with joy. During the day, he participates in daily activities, where you will also be involved in providing support. As a personal assistant, you will have a unique opportunity to be an important part of his life, create security, and contribute to making every day stimulating and meaningful.

 About you: 

We are looking for someone who spreads energy and positivity in their work. You are independent, take initiative, and have a natural ability to meet and collaborate with people. Previous experience in personal assistance or similar work is an advantage, but not a requirement – the most important thing is that you enjoy working together.

We see that you are: 

  • Non-smoker.
  • Flexible with working hours. 
  • Independent and proactive.
  • Have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Extent Work setup: 
  • Start date: By agreement.
  • Employment rate: 85% on a fixed schedule. 
  • Contract: Introduction shifts and about a month of hourly employment before the regular employment rate is assigned, provided everything goes well. This gives you a chance to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.
  • Work shifts: Day, evening, and awake night shifts, as well as occasional weekends. 24-hour shifts may become relevant in the future.

We continuously contact candidates who are relevant for a first interview. The position will be filled when we have found the right person, which may happen before the application deadline. Your application will be processed by staff at ENKV assistance, together with the client, as well as any relatives, guardians, or other concerned parties. If the position involves working with a minor client, a criminal record check is always required.

Child perspective in recruitment

At ENKV, we carefully follow the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which means that if you apply for a position that involves working with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's will and needs are taken into account. Employment where you work with a minor client also includes training on the child perspective.

Employment conditions

To be employed with us, you need to be at least 18 years old, be able to verify your identity, and show that you have the right to work in Sweden. Additionally, a valid BankID is required since both the employment contract and time reports are signed digitally.
