We are looking for an engaged and social man who wants to work part-time as a personal assistant for a cheerful and social man in his 30s living in a villa just outside Lindesberg. He has an active daily life and loves to move around, swim, ride, and take walks – both outdoors and on the treadmill at home. He also enjoys driving, going out in town, and having coffee. On weekdays, he participates in daily activities, and you as an assistant will accompany him there and bring him home. Once home, he likes to relax with music, TV, and his mobile phone. He needs assistance with personal hygiene, toilet visits/showers, feeding, and dressing/undressing. There is a strong focus on vegetarian food at home, so it is an advantage if you have an interest and knowledge in vegetarian cooking – preferably with a bit of creativity in the kitchen.

 We are looking for you who: 

  • Have good physical ability. 
  • Have a driver's license and access to your own car. 
  • Are smoke-free and can swim. 
  • Have basic knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. 
  • Are calm, positive, inventive, and flexible. 
  • Preferably have experience in personal assistance or care (not a requirement but meritorious). 

It is a big plus if you can or understand Indian, but it is not a requirement – he understands both Swedish and Indian.

Scope Work arrangement:
  • Start date: November/December.  
  • Employment rate: Part-time, about 20-25 hours per week. 
  • Agreement: Introductory shifts and about a month's hourly employment before the regular employment rate is assigned, provided everything goes well. This gives you a chance to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.
  • Work shifts: Daytime, for example, 14:00-18:00/19:00.

We continuously contact candidates who are relevant for a first interview. The position will be filled when we have found the right person, which may happen before the application deadline. Your application will be processed by staff at ENKV assistance, together with the client, as well as any relatives, guardians, or other concerned parties. If the position involves working with a minor client, a criminal record extract is always required.

Child perspective in recruitment

We at ENKV carefully follow the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which means that if you apply for a position that involves working with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's will and needs are taken into account. When employed where you work with a minor client, training on the child perspective is also included.

Employment conditions

If you proceed in the recruitment process, you need to be able to verify your identity and prove that you have the right to work in Sweden. To be able to sign your employment contract and your time reports, you need to have a BankID.

To ensure that we maintain high quality in the assistance, new employees will undergo a web-based introductory training (about 1 hour), preferably before the start of employment but no later than within a month from the start of employment.
