About the Job

Consolida Ajacis was acquired by the Indomi Group in 2022. We provide support and treatment (with the help of external actors) in two operations in Laxå municipality (Laxå & Hasselfors) and offer accommodation, enhanced support for individuals with substance abuse issues or other addictive behaviors, criminality, and mental health problems.

Our concept is based on a structured everyday life with daily routines, a focus on employment, activities, and mental health - All for a reasonable standard of living.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in social care, such as nursing assistants with a focus on psychiatry, treatment and social pedagogy, or behavioral science. You have computer skills and knowledge of Swedish, with a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You have experience working with the target group. It is an advantage if you have personal experience of treatment.

As a person, you are structured, have excellent collaboration skills, are relationship-building, and have a good ability to meet other people in need of support. We also want you to contribute with commitment and participation.

Requirements:

- At least three years of work experience in addiction and psychiatry

- Able to work at least two days a week (night shifts with on-call duty may occur)

- You have not been convicted or had probation in the last five years

Job Responsibilities

As a housing supporter, you will perform both social and practical support measures to strengthen and support individuals in their ability to manage everyday life, both inside and outside the home. The primary purpose is to support people with varying issues to the extent possible to meet and manage everyday life in different situations.

The goal is to contribute to a recovery process that can eventually make housing support unnecessary. This may involve providing support and guidance in performing various tasks at home, such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking, as well as supporting in finances and contact with other authorities, but also expanding everyday life outside the home by supporting social interactions. Housing support should be designed with consideration to the individual's changing needs based on the implementation plan. The implementation plan is established in consultation with the individual and is based on the measures that the individual has been granted in their housing support decision.

The ability to manage documentation is a must. You collaborate with colleagues, establish and follow up on the implementation plan, maintain contact with relatives, guardians, and participate in care planning and other meetings.
