The Social Administration operates a wide range of services within elderly care, disability services, health and medical care, as well as individual and family care. We currently have about 250 employees.

If you want to work within our administration, you will be in an organization where we put people's need for support at the center. The individual and family care in Lekeberg municipality consists of a total of 24 employees distributed among the child and family unit, the adult unit including assistance handling, and the open care. The organization is led by an IFO manager and three team leaders: one for the child and family unit, one for open care for both children and adults, and one for the adult unit.

We are now looking for two social workers for the adult unit in Lekeberg municipality, based on parental leave.

The positions involve handling cases with a primary focus on financial assistance, but also include handling cases related to harmful use/dependency and violence in close relationships. We work based on the employment line and support individuals' paths towards work and self-sufficiency. By working with step transitions in cases, we create conditions to strengthen the individual's ability to achieve independence.

As a social worker, you will investigate, assess, make decisions, and follow up on interventions, primarily according to the Social Services Act but also according to LVM. We have a holistic view of both the individual and the organization, where collaboration and participation are central.

We are looking for someone with a genuine commitment to social work, who is solution-oriented and curious about development and change work. You enjoy working both independently and in teams and have the ability to create good relationships with both clients and colleagues and partners.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed social work education
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing
• B driver's license and can/may drive a car
• Good computer skills.
• Experience in authority exercise

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in the Lifecare operational system. As a person, you show interest and understanding for those you meet in your professional role. You work for good communication and have a good approach. Furthermore, you have an independent working style, are structured with a good ability to organize and prioritize your work effectively. You are flexible, can make decisions, adapt to changing conditions, and drive processes in a goal-oriented manner. Since the work involves contacts with several people within, e.g., other authorities and actors, you should have very good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We work together for the transition to the new Social Services Act.

A criminal record extract and social work degree will be presented at the interview. Possible extension is possible.
