Your new role

We are now looking for a highly experienced Business Controller for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in Gothenburg. Here you will have the opportunity to work closely with management and be a strategic partner in the organization's continued development.

As a Business Controller, you will be an important business partner to management and the various parts of the organization. You will coach and support the business teams in delivering strong financial results and drive processes for risk management and value creation.

The role includes:

• Defining and developing financial governance principles that support the business model.
• Designing, implementing, and managing policies and guidelines for forecasts, key performance indicators, cost calculations, capital management, and investments.
• Analyzing and monitoring financial and operational performance, as well as initiating and driving corrective actions.
• Participating in financial review meetings with various stakeholders.
• Delivering financial reports and analyses with recommendations and early warning signals to management and the board.
• Performing ad hoc analyses to support strategic and tactical decisions.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of new processes, working methods, and standards that impact the organization's results.

To be successful in this role, you need

• Relevant academic education, preferably a degree in economics.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in Business Controlling & Analysis.
• Documented experience of working closely with management and being a strategic business partner.
• The ability to analyze complex financial and operational contexts and present clear recommendations.
• Solid experience in driving processes related to forecasts, key performance indicators, cost calculations, capital management, and investments.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
