YOUR DAY

We are now looking for a senior accountant/accounting manager for our office in Gothenburg. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for several of our Swedish companies, which includes responsibility for accounting, year-end closing, and reporting. You will work closely with other colleagues in the accounting team as well as controllers and other colleagues at Nexer and are expected to take a leading role in developing and streamlining our financial processes.

You will ensure that the accounting maintains high quality, complies with applicable regulations, and delivers accurate and relevant documentation to management and the group. The role involves both operational work and strategic elements, where you actively contribute with improvement proposals and drive change initiatives.

The work is performed at our office in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

As a senior accountant/accounting manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing accounting, monthly and annual closings for several of our Swedish companies
• Ensuring quality and efficiency in accounting processes
• Handling VAT, tax, and regulatory reporting
• Annual report work
• Cash flow forecasts
• Participating in group reporting and consolidation issues
• Being a key person in financial analysis and reporting to management
• Driving improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of new working methods

WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in accounting and year-end closing work, preferably in a larger corporation. You have a relevant academic background in finance, good knowledge of financial systems and reporting, and are confident in the role of accounting manager.

To succeed with us, we believe you are structured, meticulous, and self-driven, while also enjoying collaboration and contributing to the team's development. You have a solution-oriented approach and see opportunities in change.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of the financial system Visma Control and PX
• Good knowledge of K3 and/or IFRS
• Experience in project accounting
• Experience in group accounting and reporting
• Experience in tax issues and payroll-related accounting entries
