About the role
In the role of Business Controller, you will have a central and operationally close position where you work closely with the CFO, managers, and other functions in the organization. You will be an important part of analysis and decision-making processes, contributing to creating structure, insights, and improvements. The role focuses on analysis, controlling, and reporting, with elements of accounting, monthly closing, and group reporting. You will continuously work with margin and profitability analyses, pricing, KPI follow-up, as well as budget and forecasting work.
Your main responsibilities:
- Business and operational evaluations focusing on margins, pricing, and growth
- Development and responsibility for reports and decision-making support in Power BI
- Follow-up and further development of KPIs
- Support to managers in budget, forecast, and follow-up work
- Participation in monthly and annual closings
- Involvement in the transition from K2 to K3
- Improvement and development work within economic processes
- Financial support to the business with many internal contact points
Who we are looking for
To thrive in this role, we believe that you have a solid accounting background and experience in controlling. You are meticulous and business and development-oriented, with a strong drive and a willingness to take responsibility in your work. You are self-sufficient, structured, and have an easy time prioritizing correctly, even when the pace is high. As a person, you are helpful, unpretentious, and enjoy collaborating with different functions, while also being curious and motivated to grow together with the business.
We believe you have:
- Post-secondary education in finance
- Some years of experience in controlling and analysis
- Several years of experience in accounting, closing, and financial reconciliations
- Very good knowledge of Power BI and Excel
- Good system skills in Microsoft Office programs and preferably experience with Visma.net
- Experience with K3, K2, and IFRS is a merit
