Signal & Andersson is a family business in its fifth generation with roots in the Gothenburg Market Hall. We produce all our charcuterie products ourselves – from sausages and bacon to ham – and deliver daily to customers all over Sweden.

We invest long-term in Swedish meat raw materials, among other things through ownership of A.J. Dahlberg Slakteri AB in Dalsland and our own quality label Gårdsmärkt, which shows exactly which farm the raw material comes from. In 2024, we further strengthened the business by acquiring Rybergs Kött och Chark AB in Uddevalla.

About the role

As an Accounting Manager, you will have overall responsibility for accounting, closing, and reporting, as well as the opportunity to help develop working methods and processes. The role includes:

• Ongoing accounting and reconciliations.
• Responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• VAT and tax declarations.
• Annual report in collaboration with the auditor.
• Participation in budgeting and forecasting.
• Preparation of financial analyses and decision-making materials.
• Development and streamlining of financial processes.

You will report to the CFO and work closely with both the finance team and other parts of the organization.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is confident in their skills, enjoys taking responsibility, and wants to contribute to development. You are analytical and structured but also communicative and collaborative.

Requirements:

• Academic degree in finance or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in accounting and closing.
• Knowledge of K3 and Swedish accounting practices.
• Experience in independently managing closings and annual reports.
• Good system skills and knowledge of Excel.
• Swedish and English in spoken and written form.

Meritorious:

• Experience in group or project accounting.
• Interest in digitization and automation of financial processes.
