Unika Kvicksund group home is a residence according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) located between Västerås and Eskilstuna. Here, six clients with varying and extensive disabilities live, which means that the work can be demanding, both physically and mentally. You will provide support based on the clients' individual needs and work with personal care, medication management, social activities, digital documentation, and contact with relatives and authorities. Many of our clients need structure and predictability, and it is required that you have a pedagogical and consistent work style. You have the ability to handle pressure and stress without losing focus, with a genuine commitment to creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our clients. You are low-arousal, attentive, and pedagogical in your approach. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who is stable and has a good ability to handle challenging situations, with a genuine desire to support those who need it the most. Qualifications
  • Completed education as a nursing assistant or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and cognitive disabilities as well as complex challenging behaviors
  • Experience in personal care
  • Computer and documentation skills
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • B driver's license is a requirement
Employment conditions

Employment type: Hourly employment, temporary until 1/2-2026 Working hours: awake night, sleeping on-call, day, evening, and weekend Start date: immediate Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
