The Children and Youth Administration is responsible for Halmstad's municipal preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, after-school care, and cultural schools. Every day, approximately 16,000 children attend one of our operations.

The position of business developer is based in the Quality Department of the Children and Youth Administration. The department is responsible for the administration's overall processes related to business development and follow-up. Other responsibilities in the department involve areas such as school law and record-keeping.

We are looking for someone who wants to take on significant responsibility for creating a more equitable education in Halmstad Municipality. You will do this in a key role as a business developer with us in the Children and Youth Administration!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position includes work with follow-up, evaluation, and analysis related to national and municipal governance of preschool and school. You will also lead various quality-enhancing initiatives aimed at both improving and renewing the administration's work processes. You will need to relate to and find solutions to problems that are both complicated and complex in nature. You will work with business development across the entire administration's area of responsibility, from preschool to grade 9, but your primary focus will be on the primary school's area of operations.

Your role in the administration's systematic quality work is both strategic and operational. You work at an overarching level in relation to the board and administration management, as well as being a support resource for schools and after-school care. Together with other development functions and responsible managers, you support schools and after-school care in creating the best conditions for fulfilling the core mission. This may involve both improving and renewing working methods, templates, structures, and targeted process support related to the school's systematic quality work.

To thrive in the role of business developer, you have previous experience in strategic work with school development. You preferably have experience working at different levels in the school's governance chain. For example, you may have a background as a school leader, lead teacher, or development leader. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working both independently and in a team with others. Your work involves a significant amount of both written and oral presentation. To function in the job, you need to have a very good ability to express yourself accurately, understandably, and adapted to the needs of different recipients.

Your work is, of course, based on scientific principles and proven experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

A university degree with a pedagogical focus and/or political science education, or another university degree that the employer assesses as equivalent.

• Has experience leading processes within the systematic quality work of schools and after-school care.
• Has high collaboration competence and good communication skills.
• Has developed analytical skills.
• Has good knowledge of the governing documents that regulate the operations.
• Has a willingness and ability to work goal-oriented with complex problems.

The extract is free of charge and takes about 2-3 weeks for the police to process. Therefore, order it in good time!
