We are now looking for a Purchasing Controller to join our purchasing department at Gekås Ullared AB. We will be undertaking major projects in the near future and therefore strengthening our purchasing organization with a resource for purchasing controlling.

About the position:

The role of Purchasing Controller at Gekås Ullared AB involves responsibility for monitoring, reporting, and analysis based on the needs of the purchasing department. The role is responsible for breaking down overarching strategies into measurable goals in the form of budgets and forecasts with a focus on the purchasing budget. It also includes supporting purchasing management and buyers continuously with data and analyses for business decisions.

In the role of Purchasing Controller, you will be responsible for supporting and developing the purchasing processes within our organization. Your work contributes to strategic decisions and long-term profitability.

Main responsibilities:

• Be part of the company's purchasing management
• Ongoing monitoring, analysis, and reporting based on the needs of the purchasing department
• Development of purchasing budgets and key figures based on overarching assortment strategies for each season in collaboration with the purchasing manager, assortment manager, and buyers
• Ongoing analysis of changes in sales patterns
• Monitor purchasing and sales development to ensure the purchasing department's goals and key figures
• Support purchasing management and buyers continuously with data and analyses for business decisions
• Prepare documentation for purchasing meetings
• Responsible for documentation and information for relevant departments
• Drive the development of business systems and BI solutions
• Ongoing mapping, documentation, and development of the purchasing department's processes in collaboration with purchasing management
• Contribute to the development of the department in accordance with the company's established goals, strategies, and industry developments

We are looking for someone who is meticulous and has an analytical ability. Furthermore, you are driven, results-oriented with a strategic approach. You have the ability to work with large amounts of data and enjoy drawing conclusions that can influence strategic decisions. You are a communicative and independent person who works well both in teams and independently.

Qualifications:

• Relevant academic degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail industry
• Experience in purchasing budgeting, forecasting, and purchasing controlling
• Good knowledge of Office software and excellent skills in Excel, business systems, and BI systems
• Good ability to create structure, plan, and prioritize
