The Social Services Department is responsible for all municipal issues related to people's lives and health. The department is divided into a staff department, quality and investigation department, authority department, and Falkenberg's own operations.

Falkenberg's own operations are organized in these areas: special housing, home care, support for disabilities, health care, staffing, and support and treatment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Within Falkenberg's own operations, we are in the process of reorganizing the scheduling of operations and have established a unit consisting of four schedule consultants, staffing controllers, and unit managers.

As a schedule consultant, you have a key role in scheduling employees' working hours based on the needs of the operations, budget, and current legislation.

You will act as the department's professional in schedule planning and be able to act consultatively and proactively in dialogue with the operations. Collaboration with managers and employees in the operations will be central.

As it is a new role, function, and unit, you and your colleagues have the opportunity to work together to establish a good overall structure from the beginning. You can also expect that the nature of the work will evolve over time, and it is important to be adaptable in the assignment. Therefore, continuous follow-up is also a natural part of the role.

To gain a comprehensive understanding and coherence in the work, you will work both on schedule planning and to some extent in the daily operational work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Schedule planning is based on the needs of the operations, budget, and legislation, so you need to have good analytical skills and be able to think creatively to find the best solutions. You have a knack for seeing the big picture and understand the impact of individual schedules in a larger context. You are keen to translate the complex into something that makes managers and employees feel secure. We would like you to have a good ability to structure and prioritize your work to achieve goals within set time frames. Furthermore, you are accustomed to working digitally.

You have a suitable high school education. Your most valuable competence comes from practical work in personnel planning and logistics from an economic perspective. You have experience in scheduling and staffing, and it is valuable to have experience in how operations that run around the clock function.

You take responsibility and structure your work independently and efficiently while being good at working together with others, communicating, and solving problems constructively. We see you as a relationship builder, making it natural for you to create and maintain contacts.

Working as a schedule consultant is to support and relieve the operations within Falkenberg's own operations, and in this role, you are expected to continuously engage in dialogue and provide information on scheduling. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is accommodating in their approach, remains calm, and has an interest, willingness, and ability to help others. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You will work in the Time Cares system, and our payroll system is Personec, so it is an advantage if you have previous experience with these systems.

As you enter a newly started operation, you are expected to contribute with commitment, initiative, and decisiveness to build something good together for all involved.
