We are now looking for a Waste Coordinator for our project team at the Ringhals nuclear power plant. In this role, you will be at the interface between dismantling and waste management and contribute to ensuring that operations are conducted and followed up in accordance with applicable routines, processes, and requirements.ResponsibilitiesAs a Waste Coordinator, you will support projects and management with expert knowledge in complex industrial waste management. You will be responsible for ensuring that the handling and transport of nuclear waste is carried out and documented in accordance with local requirements and routines. You will work closely with project managers and technical teams to plan and follow up on operations while ensuring quality in processes and routines in the field.

Your work will also involve leading the waste transport team and, when necessary, acting to resolve waste and quality-related issues. You will identify opportunities for optimization and communicate risks that jeopardize effective progress towards set plans and goals. The Waste Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring traceability and proper documentation of nuclear waste within their area of operations.Education and ExperienceWe are looking for someone with a high school education, preferably in a technical or industrial field. You should also have experience leading, coaching, and training teams, as well as experience from decision-making forums. Experience in complex waste management within nuclear or industrial operations and knowledge of logistics is highly desirable.

We are therefore looking for a meticulous and structured person with a strong safety awareness and understanding of safety regulations and requirements who can work both independently and in a team. You master the Swedish and English languages in speech and writing and hold a B driver's license.The PositionA fixed-term employment of 6 months will initially apply, after which the employment may transition to a permanent position. Placement at the Ringhals nuclear power plant, Varberg.
