Svenska kraftnät is expanding to enable a green energy transition. Sweden's electricity grid needs to be reshaped, new fossil-free energy sources need to be connected, and additional transmission capacity is required for new types of industries.

The Network Division plays an important role in the steps towards a fossil-free Sweden. About the Position

In the role of Project Manager at the Management Measures unit, you will drive projects with status-enhancing and quality-assuring measures in the Swedish transmission grid. You represent Svenska Kraftnät as the client and are responsible for the project's time, cost, and results.

The projects are spread across Sweden. You will face various challenges in driving projects, for example during winter, in remote areas, and sometimes in densely populated areas where you need to consider residents and other infrastructure. This role suits you if you enjoy independently taking responsibility for and driving complex infrastructure projects. You thrive in a role where you are expected to make decisions and drive the work forward together with other project members, consultants, and contractors. As a Project Manager at Management Measures, you are responsible for steering and leading the project group and the project's contractors during the contracting phase.

You will drive the process of compiling tender documents, evaluating bids, procuring, and executing investment projects with contracted consultants and contractors.

You will belong to the management project department, which is represented at Svenska Kraftnät's headquarters in Sundbyberg as well as at various local offices.

About You

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills, as it is central to the role to cooperate with various contact points. As a Project Manager, you drive projects where clear communication with project participants and contractors is important for your success. In your leadership, you are motivating and create conditions for employees to achieve common goals. You are used to making quick decisions and acting on them. You work goal- and result-oriented and have a good ability to prioritize and plan. You are confident in your leadership role and can drive projects from Svenska Kraftnät's office even if the work is carried out in another part of the country.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, you have a university degree in a relevant field for the position or equivalent experience acquired in another way. For example, work experience in the areas of community building, infrastructure, or electrical power.

Additionally, you have:

• several years of experience in project management of projects within energy, infrastructure, construction, or equivalent
• knowledge of contract law (e.g., ABT, AB)
• negotiation experience and procurement experience
• driver's license (B)
• very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English

We consider it an advantage if you have industry experience in overhead line projects. Furthermore, you have experience in procurement and follow-up of larger consulting assignments. It is beneficial if you have worked as a project manager within or towards the public sector and have experience with the permitting process. We also consider it advantageous if you have project management certification within PMI/IPMA.
