Responsibilities:

Apply large language models (LLM) to specific business problems to extract, process, classify, and derive insights from unstructured data sets.
Develop domain or task-specific language models for business problems when existing models cannot be used.
Evaluate the performance of machine learning models and provide recommendations for improvements.
Stay updated on core technologies in NLP and generative AI.
Work in cross-functional teams and take joint ownership and responsibility for planning, work, quality, and delivery.
Act as a mentor to junior team members to contribute to an environment where they can develop through support and guidance.

Requirements:

Academic degree in Data Science, Data, Machine Learning, Theoretical Linguistics, or equivalent.
Practical experience with large language models (GPT, XLNet, T5, etc.).
Good experience using modern NLP tools and libraries such as spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers.
Strong skills in Python development including libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and experience with SQL.
Skilled in communication and teaching, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Practical experience working with both on-prem and cloud platforms, MS Azure is a plus.
Knowledge and experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, or Weaviate is a plus.
