About us

Our two units, Rengsjö care center in Rengsjö and Stenbacka farm in Arbrå, are both located close to nature, approximately 25 km outside of Bollnäs city center and about 30 km from Söderhamn. Both units have their own large gardens and are within walking distance to lakes, forests, and nature. At both units, we work based on individual interventions and needs, supporting each person in their difficulties while contributing to their independence and development as much as possible.

Target Group

Our target group consists of individuals aged 18 and older, both women and men, with mental health issues. Common diagnoses among our clients include schizophrenia, psychotic disorders, autism, functional variations, ADHD in combination with other diagnoses, acquired brain injury, and dementia. It is not uncommon for our clients to have multiple diagnoses in combination and to have previously struggled with substance abuse, requiring support to maintain sobriety.

We also work with individuals who have a complex illness picture and behaviors that can be problematic or particularly challenging, which we find to be stimulating, enjoyable, and developmental at our units. At Stenbacka farm, there is also a special unit where staff work with the same client throughout the entire shift, forming a special group with additional support staff. On this unit, you may sometimes be the only staff member with the client but will always have the opportunity to receive support from the other unit or staff on the other floor.

About the position

We are now looking for several new support workers for our operations. As a support worker, you will work with individuals who need assistance with their daily living. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.

In the role, you will be working to:

- Provide individual support, care, and service interventions

- Plan and implement activities with clients

- Daily follow up on your performed interventions in our documentation system and document the interventions you have carried out with the client.

- Perform delegated health and medical tasks

Expectations we have of our staff:

- To take responsibility for their tasks during the shift

- To work as well as possible to create security for our clients

- To work the shifts they have accepted, but you also have the right to decline shifts offered beyond your planned summer schedule

- To arrive on time for your scheduled shifts, being changed and ready on the unit when the shift begins.

- To familiarize yourself with the routines, policies, and individual routines and plans that clients have.

- To ask questions if you are uncertain, as regular staff are happy to offer support and advice; they appreciate when you ask questions.

- To work according to our common working method - Low affective approach

- Contribute to a good working environment for your colleagues and a pleasant, homely living environment for our clients.

Who are you?

As a person, you are service-oriented, attentive, and accommodating. The position of support worker also requires patience, flexibility, and responsiveness. - Education as a nursing assistant, special educator, treatment educator

- Experience from similar operations

- Knowledge of low affective approach and clarifying pedagogy

- Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing as documentation is a significant part of the job

- A valid driver's license (B)
