We are currently looking for someone who wants to be a part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant for our child client in Gävle.

I am an 11-year-old boy living with my family. I do not communicate verbally but use sign language, facial expressions, body language, and partially picture support. I am a happy, playful, curious, and compliant boy. In my daily life, I need both time alone and time to rest. I love dancing, music, gymnastics, and riding my side-by-side bike. I show what I want and do not want to do.

To fit well with me, you need to have knowledge of TAKK, the autism spectrum, and tube feeding - most importantly, you and I need to get along well.

What does the job as a personal assistant entail? 

As a personal assistant, you work with a person with a functional variation. You help with everyday tasks that many take for granted, such as dressing, taking care of the home, personal hygiene, and participating in leisure activities. You make a significant difference and help another person's daily life function.

We have clients of various ages and with different functional variations. Your workplace is where the client is, and the job is both varied and eventful. Contributing every day to help someone live their life as they wish is the most important job in the world.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is committed, respectful, and attentive. We appreciate if you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. Regardless of your age, life situation, and background, you could be the assistant we are looking for.

We would like you to:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• be able to understand and make yourself understood in Swedish.
• be able to work flexible hours - days, evenings, and weekends.
• have experience in care and nursing. (This is a plus, but not a requirement).

Additional Information

Employment type: Temporary as long as the assistance assignment lasts

Extent: approximately 70% (2 positions)

Start date: As soon as possible

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
