Role Description:

Assignment Description

We are looking for a System Developer.

In this role, you will develop and implement functionality based on requirements and designs provided by architects and stakeholders. In this case, focusing on the development and modernization of backend modules using C# and .NET.

Based on a good understanding of the overall architecture, you should be able to:

• Develop and implement software solutions within specified time and budget and according to set requirements
• Perform test automation and integration tests
• Handle troubleshooting to resolve complex issues/errors
• Estimate assignments
• Document the implemented functionality to enable reuse and cost-effective maintenance
• Adjust/optimize performance
• Conduct internal and external system integration

Must-Have Requirements

You must have the following education, skills, and experience:

• At least three (3) years of Computer Science education or equivalent engineering degree
• At least five (5) years of cumulative experience as a developer of event-driven systems with high performance requirements, e.g. large e-commerce solutions, gaming systems, or banking solutions.
• At least five (5) years of cumulative experience in backend development with C# and .NET
• At least two (2) years of cumulative experience in test automation and integration testing
• Experience from at least two (2) previous assignments with C# and .NET in event-driven systems (must serve as reference assignments)

Nice-to-Have Requirements

In addition to the above, you should meet the following requirements;

The first five value-added requirements are the most important for the client. They are listed in descending order of importance. The other value-added requirements are listed without priority among them.

1. Experience working with REST APIs from at least two (2) projects/assignments
2. Experience with event-driven architecture, e.g. Kafka, Redpanda, or similar from at least two (2) projects/assignments
3. Experience working with Entity Framework or MongoDB/Postgres from at least two (2) projects/assignments.
4. Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes from at least one (1) project/assignment.
5. Test automation and integration testing from at least one (1) project/assignment.

• Productization of data according to Data Mesh or similar Data Management strategy
• Experience working in a cloud environment (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Project experience from large business-critical development projects, preferably within gaming or finance
