This means a job where we challenge ourselves to think differently, learn, and develop with each other. Do you want to be part of a larger context where you can truly make a difference? Welcome to us at Växjö Municipality!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to make a difference in people's lives? Now you have the opportunity to express your interest in temporary positions and substitutes within our operations: social psychiatry, LSS children, and the Novus support accommodation.

Here you will have a meaningful, varied, and developing job where you contribute to creating security and quality of life for those we are here for.

You can work:

  • As a Housing Support Worker in social psychiatry, you will support individuals living with mental health issues in their daily lives, aiming to strengthen their independence, participation, and quality of life. The work primarily takes place in the client's home or in housing forms with special support. The role is both practical and relationship-building, where you are an important support in creating structure and security in daily life.
  • As a Care Assistant within LSS children, you will work with children and youth with various disabilities according to the Act on Support and Service (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SOL). The work takes place in short-term activities or in accommodation, aiming to provide children with a safe, stimulating, and meaningful everyday life.
  • As a Treatment Pedagogue at Novus, you will work in a support accommodation for individuals aged 18 and older, offering support, treatment, and housing for those with harmful use and dependency.

Our operations run around the clock, every day of the year. Working hours vary and may include day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.

We can offer temporary positions ranging from single shifts to longer assignments lasting several months.

We welcome your expression of interest!

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with people. You have a respectful approach, are responsible, and have the ability to work both independently and in a team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, but it is advantageous if you:

  • Have education or ongoing education in healthcare, social work, pedagogy, behavioral science, or a similar field.
  • Have experience from similar operations.

For work in certain operations, a criminal record extract is required. You will need to order this yourself from the police's website. Order in good time, as it can take up to two weeks. The record extract must be submitted to the recruiting manager in a sealed envelope.
