You will belong to the Technology Development team within Operations, consisting of nine highly skilled engineers in programming, electronics, mechanics, as well as specialists in measurement technology, fiber, and optics. Your work will be in close collaboration with departments such as Production, Production Planning, Delivery, Design, Logistics, Purchasing, the development department, and the management team within Operations, to continue delivering world-class products to our customers. As a project manager in automation and systems development, you will lead efforts in production automation and play a crucial role in defining Trimble's future goals. You will serve as a technical advisor to the existing team, guide the establishment of new production processes, and support production lines. Your goal will be to improve production efficiency by implementing automation. Primary Responsibilities: • Ensure that functional and technical requirements are met. • Plan and implement automation steps to streamline production processes. • Collaborate with the development department and production team to deploy systems and identify potential improvements or new opportunities. • Work directly with production to provide guidance during the initial startup phase and the User Acceptance Testing phase of the integration.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in robotics/mechatronics or related fields. • At least 5 years of practical experience in implementing and streamlining various production management systems - MES (Manufacturing Execution System) or similar. • Extensive experience in equipment installation in production, implementation of automation and support systems.  • Experience in integrating hardware components with software systems to ensure communication and functionality. • Strong project management profile, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and adept at working effectively with assemblers, engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders. • Fluent in Swedish.
