Operations Engineer/Technician at Stockholm Exergi

Stockholm Exergi is the energy company for the people of Stockholm, and we have about 800 employees who work every day to reduce the climate impact of Stockholm residents. We heat over 800,000 Stockholmers, and our 300 km long district heating network is the hub for the societal benefits we create. We are planning to build a carbon capture facility at our bioenergy plant in Värtan with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is more than Stockholm's road traffic emits during the same period.

As an operations engineer/technician, you will be offered interesting and diverse tasks within our production operations of district heating, electricity, and district cooling. Together with your colleagues, you will strive to optimize the operation of our facilities.

You will be involved in inspections, monitoring in the control room, and identifying issues in the production operations of district heating, electricity, and district cooling. Furthermore, you will assist with reporting deviations and planning and executing shutdowns and restarts of our facilities.

Requirements

• Engineering or technician education with a focus on operations or other education combined with relevant work experience for the role
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
• Driving license B
