About the role

As Category Manager for Transport & Logistics, you will have significant responsibility and a central role in developing our logistics solutions. You will lead category strategies and negotiate with suppliers to optimize costs and create value. By developing innovative solutions and sustainable processes, you contribute to Gränges achieving its business and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement category strategies for transport, logistics services, and packaging materials.
Manage and develop supplier relationships, including negotiations and evaluations.
Analyze and optimize logistics flows to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with internal teams to create customized logistics solutions.
Drive projects related to transport, inventory management, and distribution.
Monitor market trends and innovative solutions to continuously develop our logistics processes.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who:

Has a degree in logistics, supply chain management, economics, or similar.
Has at least 3–5 years of experience in logistics, strategic purchasing, or similar fields.
Is skilled at developing and implementing strategic plans.
Has an understanding of transport flows, inventory management, and distribution networks.
Has experience in project management and change management.
Has a good ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Has solid expertise in procurement processes and practical experience in procurement.
Has experience in strategic supplier management.
Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred qualifications

Previously worked in an international organization.
Knowledge of automation and digitalization of logistics processes.
Understanding of sustainability aspects in transport and logistics.
Experience in road, rail, sea, and warehouse logistics.
Background in manufacturing industry.
