About the role

As an Account Manager at Secure Meters, your primary responsibility is to establish and nurture business relationships with new customers, and you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle of our products. Our solutions include both hardware and software. The role involves prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and closing deals that meet specific customer needs in energy measurement and power quality. You will also play a key role in driving the business strategy to identify and find new opportunities through various partners and channels. Responsibilities

As an Account Manager, you will lead and develop customer relationships in the area of advanced billing measurement and power quality solutions in the Nordic region. You will drive the entire sales process and ensure that our products meet customer needs. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and cultivating business relationships with new and existing customers by identifying their needs and offering updated products in both hardware and software.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and ensuring that customer relationships are strengthened and deals are successfully closed.
  • Generating sales through various channels, including partners and key customers, while optimizing our market presence.
  • Ensuring profitability by aligning the product and service mix with customer needs and market strategy.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve business goals, both short and long term, in consultation with management.
  • Understanding and staying updated on our products and market trends to offer customized solutions that meet changing requirements and needs.
  • Participating in industry fairs, conferences, and other networking events to represent the company, build relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensuring accurate business reporting through our CRM system Salesforce, focusing on sales forecasts, financial results, and strategic insights.
  • Working in line with Secure Meters' values and building long-term, trusting customer relationships that promote both customer and company success.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a similar technical field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the energy sector and with experience in long sales cycles.
  • Documented experience in technical sales of value-based products (at least 2–3 years of experience), preferably within electrical energy, billing measurement, and/or power quality for larger customers and/or electricity network operators.
  • Strong technical understanding with a strong ability to educate customers about technical products and systems tailored to their specific needs.
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to conduct advanced product and software demonstrations.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and good knowledge of Office 365.
