We are now expanding our team within the Adult Investigation and Enforcement operations and are looking for an engaged social worker for the Adult Investigation Team. The Social Office is the municipality's largest department. One of the department's divisions is Individual and Family Care (IFO), which works with support for children, young people, and their families. IFO is divided into three operational branches: Child and Youth Investigation, Adult Investigation and Enforcement, and Child and Youth Enforcement.

Within the Adult Investigation and Enforcement branch, there are the Adult Investigation Team, Adult Open Care, the Financial Support Unit, and Solkraft.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibilities will consist of investigating applications/reports according to SoL and LVM regarding individuals over 18 years old with harmful use and dependency issues. As part of your work, you will systematically follow up on granted interventions. Our goal is for you, in close collaboration with the individual, to support and find good and sustainable solutions for them. You will do this by utilizing the individual’s own resources and closely collaborating with, among others, health care and the municipality's open care unit.

In your role as a social worker in the Adult Investigation Team, you will also work on assessing, investigating, and following up on adults who are subjected to violence in close relationships.

A B driver's license is required for the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and good knowledge of legislation relevant to the field, and it is an advantage if you have training in ASI, BBIC, and FREDA. If you have experience in investigative work and in meeting and guiding people in crisis, we see that as an advantage.

You need to be able to work independently and take your own initiative. You have the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. The position requires you to work purposefully, legally, and efficiently, and experience in public authority work is considered a merit. You are driven, responsible, and have a good ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. You should have a good ability to structure and plan your work and meet deadlines. Since the position involves working with people who may be in a difficult social and vulnerable situation, you are expected to show judgment in statements, actions, and decisions, as well as being accommodating in your interactions and having good collaborative skills.

The employees of the Social Office provide care, support, and assistance to people throughout Skellefteå. They may be elderly, individuals with physical or mental disabilities, or individuals and families in need of special support for a period.

Our operations are located throughout the municipality, and we have specialists in several areas within care, support, nutrition, and activation for individuals with disabilities, addiction care, family counseling, and much more.
