The Organization

The individual and family care in Nordmaling municipality has about 35 employees and has also been responsible for operations in Bjurholm municipality since the beginning of the year. The organization is divided into five operational areas (VO): Children, Youth & Family, Adults, Open Care, Assistance & Function, and Management & Support.

We are now looking for a social worker for VO Children, Youth, and Family. In the group, social workers work with the support of a team leader with authority in the area of social child and youth care.

The Role and Responsibilities

In your daily work as a social worker in social child and youth care, you will be responsible for the preliminary assessment of incoming reports, investigations, and decision-making according to the Social Services Act, as well as follow-up of interventions and placements.

You will work according to BBIC with a strength-based approach and have a clear focus on children's safe upbringing conditions.

You will work to meet the organization's goals, participate in the development and improvement of the organization's quality, and contribute to and protect a good working environment.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work.

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working with social services' authority in general and social child and youth care in particular
• good knowledge of social services' assignments and current legislation
• experience and training in BBIC and strength-based methods in social work
