About Kanalgården's nursing homeKanalgården's nursing home is located by the Göta Canal just outside Linköping in Berg, and there are good bus connections. The beautiful surroundings provide excellent opportunities for recreation.• You have a group manager who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operation. Becoming a group manager can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.• We are constantly working to create new, exciting activities for our residents. During the summer, we have a bicycle that we can use to cycle with the residents.

As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Good computer skills and experience in documentation are also advantageous. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important.
