Our clinic is a regional and accredited unit within the Diagnostic Center in Region Östergötland.

We employ approximately 70 people consisting of doctors, biomedical analysts, biologists, laboratory technicians, managers, and administrators. Our microbiological laboratory performs diagnostics of microorganisms that can cause serious infections; bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. To detect pathogens in patient samples, a variety of techniques are used; cultivation with the help of automation robots, detection of antigens, antibodies, or DNA/RNA using molecular biological methods. We also have a substrate department that provides us with the media we use in diagnostics.

Job Description

With us, you may get to work with methods for the diagnostics of bacteria and viruses through bacterial cultivation, molecular biological methods, as well as detection of antigens and antibodies. About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst or biologist/medical biologist. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

You take initiative, start activities, and achieve results. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and can quickly change your perspective and approach. You see opportunities in changes. You work well with others and relate to them in a responsive and flexible manner, as well as listen, communicate, and are solution-oriented. You are meticulous and well aware of goals and quality standards and place great importance on living up to these.
