Do you want to be part of starting a new business? We are now looking for 2 support staff for our newly built accommodation in Hovmantorp. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The positions are part-time, 80%.  About Hovmantorp Hovmantorp is a newly built group home for individuals with a decision on housing with special services in accordance with LSS. The facility has six places and is located in the community of Hovmantorp, about ten kilometers from Lessebo and 30 kilometers from Växjö. 

About the role

In the role of support staff, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts. 

You will have a coordinator close by who also works in the facility.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or equivalent training. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our users' best interests in mind in everything you do.
