HR Process Leader with a focus on Salary Formation

Do you want to contribute to an Armed Forces that will grow significantly in the coming years to become a stronger defense that meets every threat and overcomes every challenge? Do you want the opportunity to drive, coordinate, and influence the development of HR work within the Armed Forces? Then the position of process leader is for you.

About the Unit

The process leaders belong to the Employer Unit at the Armed Forces HR Center, where the sub-process leaders also work and are managed by process owners at the Armed Forces Headquarters. There are process leader colleagues in areas such as recruitment, internal personnel supply, work adaptation, and rehabilitation. As a Process Leader, you will be part of the Personnel Supply Management Group, which aims to ensure that HR processes are interconnected with other management areas.

Main Responsibilities

As an HR process leader focusing on salary formation, you will serve as a close support to process owners, including the Armed Forces' Chief Negotiator. By being attentive to the needs required to achieve results within the operational area, you will have the opportunity to provide advisory support in the necessary development to ensure set goals. You will work closely with the line organization at the HR Center and have close collaboration and overlapping project work with other HR process leaders and the IT organization. Your ability as a process leader is strongly dependent on how well you understand the authority's processes and, not least, how the interdependencies between HR processes interact.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Support process owners with knowledge about FM operational development and processes
  • Lead the process and the development of sub-process leaders
  • Identify deficiencies, analyze, and propose improvements by establishing, preparing, and driving change requests
  • Be responsible for communication and publishing information
  • Ensure that guidelines and regulations are implemented in procedures
  • Be responsible for developing training materials to establish and inform about the process
  • Ensure that the development and management of IT support systems within the salary formation area function satisfactorily and drive adaptation and development of the systems in the area
  • Develop goals and key performance indicators and measure the process

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in HR or professional experience that the employer deems equivalent
  • Several years of professional experience in the HR field from public operations
  • Very good understanding of how different parts of HR are interconnected and support each other
  • Experience in salary formation in the public sector and/or compensation and benefits
  • Documented experience in process and/or project management
  • Good system skills that allow you to familiarize yourself with new IT systems

Personal Qualities

You are a calm and stress-resistant person who has the ability to create good structure. You are a comfortable communicator in both speech and writing and possess the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and tasks simultaneously. As a process leader, you are expected to be clearly results-oriented. A success factor is that you find it appealing to be a key player in one of the employer's most important work tools – change management. You who are applying for this role are also a good leader who can independently drive the business forward with a focus on operational benefit. Your leadership requires you to lead the organization with personnel resources in the form of sub-process leaders. The sub-process leaders work with process development as part of their regular position. This requires good dialogue and collaboration with the regular line organization. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of the Armed Forces' organization and management structure
  • Documented experience in change management
