Mo Gård is a foundation-owned knowledge-based company with over 75 years of combined experience and specialized competence in communication, combined disabilities, and challenging expressions. Today, we have about 650 employees and we offer services according to LSS to individuals with combined disabilities who require adaptations in communication and environment.

Mo Gård operates group homes and service residences as well as daily activities in Uppland, Stockholm, Södermanland, Östergötland, and Skåne. Our focus is always to see from the individual's perspective.

About the role

As an IT strategist, you will lead our IT unit and have overall responsibility for leading and developing the organization's ability to support our operations with secure and high-quality IT services. Our IT environment consists of several operational systems that we have high demands on regarding functionality and security. Our users' needs for IT services are also very high. The IT unit is therefore an active part of our business development to ensure access to the IT environment and the digital services our users require, both today and in the future based on the opportunities that increased digitalization offers.

Your assignment will involve close leadership of a smaller group. You will report directly to the Chief of Staff and will be part of the company's management teams, both at the corporate level and in the staff.

Since our operations are geographically spread across the country, the assignment will require some travel, but it is not extensive.

About you

You have experience in similar tasks as an IT manager or IT strategist responsible for ensuring an efficient, secure, and well-functioning IT environment for a larger organization. You are accustomed to leading projects and negotiating with IT service providers in a businesslike manner. Experience in a similar organization to ours is an advantage but not a requirement.

You have an academic education or other relevant education combined with solid experience in similar tasks.

We also value that you have had significant responsibility in previous positions and that you are used to working in a management team.

As a person, it is important that you have a strong interest in our operations and, with a good overall perspective, the ability to ensure that we have the IT environment that we, our users, and our organization demand in a cost-effective manner.

You will work closely with our managers, which is why good collaboration skills, humility, and a solution-oriented approach are also important qualities.
