Your new team

You will be part of our Group Accounting team of six people. We have a good atmosphere, broad expertise, and a desire to continuously improve. The team is based in Malmö and Oslo, and this role is located at Heimstaden's office in Malmö. Here, you will be one of three Group Accountants on-site, with close contact both with colleagues in Malmö and with the rest of the team in Scandinavia. Together, we work on developing accounting routines, processes, and quality – and now we are looking for you who want to be part of that journey.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for accounting in legal entities with a focus on Sweden, as well as contributions in Norway and Denmark. The role is broad and varied – perfect for you who like to keep track of details but also see the bigger picture in accounting.

You will, among other things:

• Be responsible for monthly and quarterly closings
• Be responsible for ongoing accounting of financial and intercompany transactions
• Be responsible for annual reports
• VAT reporting
• Support the team in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and handle travel expenses
• Participate in documenting and improving our processes
• Be part of the rollout and development of our accounting system (D365)
• Ongoing communication with the team and corporate functions
• Participate in various ad hoc tasks related to the role

Who are you?

We would like you to have:

• Post-secondary education in finance/accounting
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in accounting
• Good knowledge of Excel and an interest in business systems
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience with D365 is a plus (but not a requirement)
• An eye for detail and a curiosity to learn new things
