The Role of Leisure Assistant

Together with other leisure assistants, you will be responsible for planning evening activities, providing residential support to students, and serving evening snacks in the leisure center. You will also collaborate with the school nurse, counselor, kitchen staff, and janitors. Working hours vary between 15:00 and 02:00.

We offer a permanent position at 95% with immediate start or according to agreement.

Your Future Workplace

At Tenhults Agricultural High School, we educate for the future within the green sectors. We have over 230 students, most of whom come primarily from Jönköping County. Students who live far from the school have the opportunity to stay at the school's boarding school during the week. The boarding school is located above the school and consists of eleven houses with space for 77 students. Adjacent to the boarding school, there is a common leisure area where we usually have various activities and evening snacks. The school has four specializations: Agriculture, Horses, Animal Care, and Horticulture. We offer both a three-year agricultural program and a four-year program in Forestry, Land, and Animals as part of an adapted upper secondary school, as well as adult education in horticulture.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has a present and attentive approach to the various needs of students, is a clear leader, and has good collaboration skills. You are independent, responsible, and easily take your own initiatives. We develop our work through pedagogical conversations and collegial learning and see it as a strength to help each other to be curious about new ways of working. We place great importance on personal suitability.

To be considered for the position, you should have leisure leader training or equivalent work experience. You should also have a B driver's license as travel is required in the position.
