Your New Job

We are looking for a qualified preschool assistant. As a preschool assistant, you will be involved in the educational work at the preschool and ensure that teaching and education occur according to the preschool's governing documents. You will work with the rest of the team to stimulate children's development and learning while providing them with safe care. The operation is based on a holistic view of the child and its needs, designed so that care, development, and learning form a whole. The preschool should prepare the child for continued education. We work on language development based on an accessible learning environment. All children should be given the opportunity to understand and be understood.

The team distributes tasks within the group based on each professional's role. Planning, follow-up, and evaluation occur based on the intentions in the preschool's governing documents. Based on the team's pedagogical documentation, a continuous, systematic quality work is carried out.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is qualified and has one or more years of experience in the preschool assistant profession. You contribute to a good working atmosphere and can build trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. Knowledge in language development work and using TAKK is of great value in your role with us. As a preschool assistant, we want you to challenge and inspire the children both in planned activities and in everyday and routine situations, and together with the team, organize to ensure that all children have good opportunities to develop, learn, play, and thrive in preschool. You are engaged and curious, with a desire to continue learning and developing in your professional role. You need to be flexible as you may need to help each other across departments when necessary. Great emphasis is placed on your professional skills, positive attitude, and personal suitability. It is also essential that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
