Engelska Skolan Norr is looking for a qualified special teacher. You will be part of the school's special team, where you, together with a special educational coordinator and two other special teachers, work to continuously develop the school's important special educational efforts. You will have a significant role as you are part of the school's student health team, where we work preventively, health-promoting, and remedial for the benefit of our students.

You will be part of the working group for grades 6-9, which continuously follows the students' knowledge development to be able to implement early support measures. The work is student-centered, and in collaboration with colleagues, you will plan and carry out teaching for students in need of special support.

A combination of subject competence in SVA (Swedish as a second language) and mathematics is highly desirable as you will teach both at the secondary level. Teaching takes place both in the classroom, together with the main teacher, and individually in your own Studio.

Our school has a bilingual profile with Swedish and English as the languages of instruction. This means that our student groups consist of both newly arrived students as well as students who have lived in Sweden for a longer time and have varying language skills. This necessitates extensive individualization of teaching based on the students' needs.

We want you to be a teacher who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships with the students, and that you are passionate about meeting students in their individual development based on experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities.

You need to be accustomed to working with digital tools both in students' learning, communication with guardians, and documentation of students' goal fulfillment - Admentum & Google Workspace.
