We are looking for someone who is passionate about educating tomorrow's colleagues! You should have solid knowledge as an electrician and also be flexible and pedagogical, with great patience. Either you have a vocational teacher's degree from the university, or you have the desire to train as a vocational teacher in the long run. You should be passionate about educating eager entrepreneurs, have a deep understanding of the conditions of vocational students, and enjoy the challenge of teaching both introductory and national students. Since all our students are in apprenticeships or apprenticeship-like programs, you must enjoy working with APL.

To succeed in the role of teacher in the Electrical Program, you must enjoy working in a team, see the strength in collaborating with your colleagues in the program as well as with other teachers in the school. You must love working with young people and have a desire to share your knowledge.

You will teach all grades within the Electrical Program together with colleagues and be responsible for planning based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's curricula, implementation, follow-up, and documentation of your teaching.

Furthermore, you will also have contact with APL companies, secure APL placements, visit students at their APL, document their knowledge development at APL, and follow up on APL placements and sign agreements with each placement, as well as prepare students' moment summaries/individual plans for both school-based and workplace-based education.

You need to master Swedish in both spoken and written form and have basic IT skills as all our documentation is done in Studybee, Schoolsoft, and Google Apps for Education.

The position is a full-time position starting by agreement. If you are a certified teacher, the position is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period; if you are not certified, it is a temporary position for one school year at a time.

Praktiska Gymnasiet in Nacka has about 500 students and 48 employees. We are located in Nacka Strand.
