Sofia School in eastern Södermalm. The school is popular; many want their children here, and today the school has about 900 students in grades F-9 and about 130 employees. Job Description

Teacher in the lower grades. The position is a temporary contract from March to December 2025. The role involves being a teaching teacher and mentor in one of our classes in grade 1 during the spring and the same class when they are in grade 2 during the autumn term. You will teach the class in Swedish, mathematics, English, art, technology, and social studies. You are also the mentor for your class. Collaboration with after-school care and student health is included in the role. You contribute to the school's development work and are active in collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

Qualified and certified lower-grade teacher. You are a clear leader in the classroom and have experience in reading and writing instruction, as well as experience as a teacher and mentor in the lower grades. You are responsible and a skilled educator. You create conditions for all students to achieve their goals and develop both academically and socially. You are good at collaborating with colleagues and also find it easy to connect with guardians. You have experience with digital teaching materials and are interested in using and developing teaching with iPads as a complement in the classroom.
