International English School (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is in both Swedish and English, and the hallways are bilingual. The language of meetings and communication amongst the staff is English.

IES Bromma is a school for grades 4-9 with 945 students and 100 staff members. We are a bilingual school that follows the Swedish curriculum. Our 9 Swedish teachers belong to our “Swedish Departments”. Your own teaching as a teacher will be in Swedish, but among colleagues, we speak English.

We are looking for a teaching assistant for grades 7-9 with immediate start at 50%. There is a possibility for extension after the summer and for the position to be increased to more than half-time.
Job responsibilities: As a teaching assistant, you will work to provide support to students in class in both learning and development. You will support lessons and breaks as well as other tasks as needed. In your role as a teaching assistant, you will provide support based on each student's specific needs and promote development and independence. It is important that you contribute to creating a safe environment and that you collaborate with other staff. We see it as a given that you enjoy working in a team and have good collaboration and communication skills!

Requirements:
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- Criminal record extract
Meritorious
- High school education
- Experience working with individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF)
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
