Kugghjulets resource school is located in Rydsgård in shared premises with Rydsgårdsskolan. Kugghjulet is a resource school for students with autism. The school has few students and a high staff density.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for a teacher in crafts. You should be able to teach both types of crafts, grades 4-9, and in at least one more subject. The teaching is in small groups or, in some cases, individually. The focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You support students in their social and cognitive development. You challenge the student to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. You are responsible for creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with qualifications in crafts and at least one more subject. You have experience teaching at the middle school/high school level. You have experience teaching students with NPF. You find it easy to collaborate with the work team, student health services, and the rest of the school. You have high expectations of your students and have a relational and formative approach to work. Furthermore, we believe that you are positive, curious, innovative, and capable of thinking innovatively.
