Job Description
Randstad is now looking for a dedicated and analytical project manager/program manager for cost reduction at Siemens Energy in Finspång. In this consultancy assignment, you will have the opportunity to drive a strategic program focusing on cost reduction. With your help, the business will be able to continue delivering cost-effective and high-quality solutions within the energy industry. This is your chance to contribute to improvement work within one of the world's leading players in the energy sector!
As a program manager, you will play a central role in setting goals for cost savings, follow up on these with the management team, and continuously identify new improvement opportunities. You will support managers and project managers in developing business cases and calculations for improvement projects, while also being responsible for updating and managing data in Siemens Energy's system. Additionally, you will compile status updates and present analyses and results to the management team and other key stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have a university degree in economics, engineering, or a similar field. You have experience in analyzing and presenting data in a clear and structured manner, and are accustomed to using tools like Excel and PowerPoint in your daily work. If you also have experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI, it is a significant advantage. We are looking for someone with a basic understanding of how to create a business case and who has good communication skills, both in Swedish and English. Experience with processes in industrial or similar environments is also advantageous. Personally, we believe that you are self-driven and proactive with a strong ability to deliver results. You are analytical and meticulous, have a structured way of working, and enjoy collaborating with others. Responsibilities
- Set goals for the business regarding cost reduction and follow up on these with the management team and other stakeholders.
- Identify new cost-saving opportunities in collaboration with various functions within the service.
- Calculate cost savings and design business cases for improvements and projects.
- Ensure that cost savings are recorded and updated in the One PUMA Web system, both through your own work and in collaboration with other parts of the organization.
- Support portfolio management for business development projects and prepare status updates for the local management team.
- Present analyses and status reports to the management team and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- University degree in economics, engineering, or equivalent.
- Good experience in compiling and analyzing data and presenting it in relevant formats.
- Solid knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI.
- Basic understanding of developing business cases and driving improvement projects.
- Good communication skills in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English.
- Understanding of processes in similar industries is advantageous.
