Your new role As a Senior Project Manager at Gasum, you will be responsible for the implementation of existing investment projects within Biogas. You will lead the projects from start to finish, ensure that all phases are followed according to the project plan, and deliver on time, within budget, and according to quality requirements.

In this role, you will coordinate work between internal and external resources, including engineers, consultants, and contractors. You will ensure effective implementation, monitor the progress of the project using KPIs, and ensure that all tasks are distributed correctly. You will also be actively involved in the procurement process and work to continuously improve work processes.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead Biogas Unit PDE existing investment projects and manage 2-3 processes simultaneously.
• Ensure implementation according to schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate external engineering firms, consultants, and contractors.
• Communicate effectively with all relevant parties.
• Ensure that all tasks are distributed and followed up on.
• Actively participate in procurement and identify qualified suppliers and contractors.
• Apply best practices and continuously improve work processes.

Your background We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in project management of large, complex, and technology-intensive projects, preferably within the process or manufacturing industry. You should have several years of experience in leading projects involving mechanical equipment such as pumps, tanks, and heat exchangers. To succeed in this role, you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have an engineering degree or equivalent work experience.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in leading projects in large, complex, and technology-intensive projects, preferably within the process or manufacturing industry.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Engineering degree or a similar relevant education, or equivalent technical work experience.

Desirable:

• Experience in biogas or similar industries such as combined heat and power plants, pulp and paper industry, or other process industries.
• Knowledge of contract law and contracts, especially in the procurement and design phases.
• Experience in permitting processes for industrial or production facilities.
• Experience in managing large contracts, as a client, contractor, or consultant.
