The Property Department is part of the Community Building Administration and is responsible for the municipality's property management, operations unit, and local planning. We have a property portfolio consisting of approximately 200,000 square meters of premises. As the municipality grows, we face several interesting development and construction projects with an average budget of 300 million SEK per year over the next three years. The department consists of 24 employees and two unit managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of Property Developer, you have the overall strategic responsibility for the municipality's premises supply issues. You will work strategically with the municipality's premises efficiency and supply, where you have a coordination responsibility for planning the space needs of the municipality's various administrations. You work from a corporate perspective with the municipal executive board as the property owner. In your assignment, you will work closely with the municipality's administrations as a representative in premises supply issues, and you have an overall responsibility for needs assessment, development, and decommissioning of premises in both the short and long term.

A new focus area in the role is tasks related to the municipality's work with property development, with an emphasis on ensuring future premises supply in an efficient manner. You work closely with the planning and development unit on issues concerning the municipality's premises and property development, which is part of the municipality's community building process where various urban development projects are managed.

The role of Property Developer also entails functional responsibility for the municipality's premises supply process and premises supply plan, and you, along with the property manager, will present to the strategic premises group. The work involves many contacts both internally and externally as you are the contact person for both the municipality's own administrations and private property owners.

You report to the Property Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this role, we see that you have a university degree in real estate or another education we deem relevant. Alternatively, you may have gained equivalent experience in another way. You have several years of experience in a similar role and documented experience of similar tasks. You master the Swedish language very well in both speech and writing, as the work involves drafting written materials for committees. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position. We would prefer that you have worked within a politically governed organization, but it is not a requirement for the role. Knowledge of rental law and LOU is also meritorious and something we value. You have previously worked with development and change work related to the above content.
